Add some antique charm and symbolism to your collection with this beautifully detailed decorative compass. Featuring a horseshoe motif above the north point to symbolise good luck, the piece is enhanced with intricate scrollwork across both the front and reverse.
The clear, intact glass face displays the compass dial beautifully, with no visible degradation to the face beneath.
The reverse side continues the ornate scroll design and remains free from dents, showing only light superficial surface wear consistent with age and use. The piece is stamped for Birmingham, 1912 along with the lion passant and makers mark WFC
