Antique Albertina chain crafted in 9 carat yellow gold, featuring a beautifully detailed 17mm heart-shaped padlock style charm.
This exquisite piece is adorned with delicate leaf and floral motifs and showcases an elegant triple strand wheat and circular link chain design with engraved panel detailing at either end. Please note the padlock is decorative only and has not been made with a functioning hinge to open. Finished with a swivel clasp, the spring mechanism opens and closes securely as intended.
A lovely two-tone combination of rose and yellow gold adds warmth and character to the piece. The reverse of the heart suggests it may once have had a higher carat gold wash which has naturally worn over time, consistent with age.

Condition: good antique condition. Swivel clasp spring operates as intended, light superficial scratches commensurate with age. Appearance of higher carat wash to reverse of heart, worn over time. Two split rings and a jump ring are attached to the top of the heart.
