A striking and symbolic piece from the renowned Aronson & Co of Melbourne, this exquisite antique brooch showcases a beautifully rendered sword entwined with a crescent motif, crafted in rich 15ct yellow gold. Accented with luminous opal cabochons that shimmer with iridescent hues, the design reflects both Victorian sentiment and Edwardian elegance. The reverse is stamped "15" and flanked by pictorial hallmarks, confirming its authenticity and period origin. An exceptional example of late 19th to early 20th century Australian jewellery craftsmanship.
